A worker at Resolute Forest Products in Thunder Bay is in critical condition after an accident in the pulp and paper mill Friday.

A worker at Resolute Forest Products in Thunder Bay is in critical condition after an accident in the pulp and paper mill Friday.
The Ministry of Labour said he was pinned by some equipment in the finishing area of the plant.
In an e-mail to CBC News, Resolute spokesperson Xavier Van Chau said the company is focused on the employee's health.
Van Chau said the company's assessment will result in preventative measures.
"Once the incident report [is] completed, employees at the mill and across all operations will be informed so we alert all to potential hazards."
A spokesperson for the labour ministry told CBC News that after the incident, it ordered the company to secure the scene while it continues its investigation.
