Trans-Canada Highway near Dryden re-opens after rock slide

OPP in Dryden say the Trans-Canada Highway has been re-opened to traffic, 18 kilometres west of Vermillion Bay, between Dryden and Kenora, Ont.

OPP in Dryden say the Trans-Canada Highway has been re-opened to traffic, 18 kilometres west of Vermillion Bay, between Dryden and Kenora, Ont.

The closure came after a rock slide partially closed the eastbound lane and part of the west bound lane earlier today, police said.

Officers were at the scene directing traffic until the boulders could be removed.

The highway is now clear in both directions.
