Katie Ball is no stranger to fur.

As a child, the Thunder Bay woman used to accompany her father on his trap line, helping him prepare the animals and placing the pelts on a stretching board.

After some time modelling, Ball has now returned to her roots and is turning her creative efforts to designing accessories using fur.

Outdoor columnist Gord Ellis spoke to Superior Morning host Lisa Laco about Katie Ball's work.
