Thunder Bay man killed in weekend collision

Police are investigating the cause of a collision that killed a Thunder Bay man Saturday on Highway 17, near Ignace.

OPP said 28-year-old Brandon Melnyk's pickup truck collided with a transport truck near Kay Lake Road.

Melnyk was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the driver of the transport suffered non-life threatening injuries.
