Thunder Bay stabbing victim succumbs to injuries
Police investigating after one of two men stabbed at Limbrick Housing Complex early Friday morning died
An overnight stabbing at the Limbrick Housing Complex in Thunder Bay has resulted in the death of a 25-year-old man.
City police, along with firefighters and paramedics, were called to the neighbourhood just after 3 a.m. Friday, following reports of a stabbing, the police service said in a media release the same day.
Two male victims — aged 25 and 27 — were located and taken to hospital.
The 25-year-old victim succumbed to his injuries, police stated in a release issued at approximately 2:30 p.m. Friday.
The 27-year-old victim was treated at hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Police continued to hold the scene, and were canvassing the area as the investigation unfolded on Friday afternoon.
