Northwestern Ontario musicians throw support behind Sounds of the Season
Live music, tours and draws all part of festive fundraiser for RFDA
Northwestern Ontario musicians The Greenbank Trio and Nick Sherman are throwing their support behind CBC Thunder Bay's Sounds of the Season, a fundraiser for the Regional Food Distribution Association (RFDA).
On Friday December 4th, CBC Thunder Bay is throwing opening the doors to its studios at 213 East Miles Street at 6:00 a.m. with live programming, tours and fun through to 6:00 p.m.
Donations of non-perishable food items are being collected for the RFDA, which supports food banks across northwestern Ontario, providing hampers for more than 13,000 people and meals for more than 26,000 annually.
Starting off the day, the band The Greenbank Trio, known for their three-part harmony, perform live on Superior Morning between 6:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
Besides enjoying the live performances, you can meet the crew at CBC Thunder Bay, grab a cup of coffee and win a great door prize.
