A news release from the City of Thunder Bay on Monday confirmed the goalie and the cup will be at the promotions court of Intercity Shopping Centre on Tuesday July 19 from noon to 2:00 p.m.
According to the city, people can get their photo taken with Murray, but "in the interests of time, autographs will not be signed."
People are being asked to bring their own cameras.
On Tuesday afternoon, in another media release, the city also confirmed that Murray will take part in a flag-raising event on Monday July 18.
He, along with Mayor Keith Hobbs, are slated to raise the Pittsburgh Penguins flag outside the Northwestern Ontario Sports Hall of Fame at 10:30 a.m.
The previous cup-winning player to bring the Stanley Cup to the Lakehead was Patrick Sharp in 2013. Mike Richards paraded the cup through Kenora in 2014.
