Manitoba man charged after sexual assault at Thunder Bay's Fort William Historical Park
Ontario Provincial Police have charged a 19-year-old man from Portage La Prairie, Man. with sexual assault and forcible confinement after an incident this weekend at Thunder Bay's Fort William Historical Park.
Ontario Provincial Police have charged a 19-year-old man from Portage La Prairie, Man. with sexual assault and forcible confinement after an incident this weekend at Thunder Bay's Fort William Historical Park.
The OPP said they received a call at around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday night that a female had been sexually assaulted in a portable shower stall on park grounds.
A suspect was located and arrested.
The man was held in custody for a video court appearance and remanded into custody.
Police confirmed the alleged assault happened while the park was hosting the Fort Fest 2015 music concerts.
