Highway 11 east of Thunder Bay is now open after being closed around midday on Thursday due to a collision.
Police said three transport trucks collided on Highway 11 at Keung Road, 20 kilometres west of Geraldton.

A detour was in place for small vehicles, but not tractor-trailers.
OPP had also closed Highway 11/17 Thursday morning after a collision between a transport and car near Bible Camp Road in Dorion.
And earlier in the day, OPP had Highway 11 down to one lane near Beardmore, after a transport blocked the highway.

All major highways in the northwest were open as of 2:30 p.m. Thursday, with traffic being escorted around the clean-up site of a train derailment east of Nipigon.
