Fire destroys school in Wapekeka First Nation

Police say the elementary school in Wapakeka First Nation, about 600 kilometres north of Thunder Bay, Ont. went up in flames overnight on Wednesday.
The Reverend Eleazar Winter Memorial School was "fully engulfed in flame" during a night time fire, according to the OPP.
No injuries have been reported and no other buildings were affected by the fire, police said.
A photo posted by community member Joshua Frogg on Facebook Thursday morning shows a pile of smouldering remains where the school once stood.
About 350 people live in Wapekeka.
