CBC Thunder Bay launches Sounds of the Season fundraiser Dec. 5

​Join CBC Thunder Bay on Friday, Dec. 5 for our annual Sounds of the Season campaign in support of food banks in Northwestern Ontario.

Through your generosity we can spread holiday cheer by fighting hunger in communities across our region.

You can make donations of cash or food all day long — from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. — at the Regional Food Distribution Association Centre, located at 570 Syndicate Ave. South. There’s lots of parking!

Join Lisa Laco and the Superior Morning crew for a live broadcast from the RFDA Centre from 6 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

We’ll have live music, a chef’s breakfast competition, a live sound quiz and more.

At noon, come to the RFDA Centre for a bowl of borscht, made in the centre’s busy kitchen.

From 4 to 6 p.m. drop by on your way home to meet with Jeff Walters at the centre, where he’ll be providing live hits about the day-long campaign into Up North, our afternoon radio show.
