Thunder Bay·ONTARIO VOTES 2025

How to vote early in the 2025 provincial election in northwestern Ontario

Election Day is a week away, but those eager to cast their ballots in the provincial election have a few options to get their votes in early. Here's where people can vote in the advance polls across northwestern Ontario.

Advance polls open now ahead of Election Day next week

Election Day is a week away, but those eager to cast their ballots in the provincial election have a few options to get their votes in early.

In addition to voting by mail, there are a number of advance polls open in northwestern Ontario.

Those who have registered to vote will receive a voter information card in the mail, which includes information about when and where to vote. People can still vote without a voter information card, but must bring a piece of ID that includes their name and address.

Eligible voters must be at least 18 or older, a Canadian citizen, and a resident of Ontario.

Here's a list of places people can vote early in the region. More information can be found on the Elections Ontario website.
