A Timmins man is facing child pornography charges following a joint investigation between police in Timmins and Greater Sudbury.
A Timmins man is facing child pornography charges following a joint investigation between police in Timmins and Greater Sudbury.
Timmins Police said an investigation started in August 2014, after officers with the Greater Sudbury Police Service’s Cyber Crime unit identified a target in Timmins.
On Tuesday, Timmins Police executed a search warrant at a home in the city.
In total, four computers were seized, which police said had suspected child pornography images and videos.
A 44-year-old Timmins man has been charged with several offences, including making pornography available, two counts of possession of child pornography and accessing child pornography.
The accused is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
