Sudbury Theatre Centre's new artistic director has local vision
He's barely had a week on the job, but the Sudbury Theatre Centre's new artistic director says he's ready to pick up where his predecessor, David Savoy, left off.
Caleb Marshall, an import from Theatre New Bruswick, says his vision for the STC is one that is driven by local storytelling and local talent.
"An artistic director's job is to not impose a vision, but to cultivate a vision with the community," Marshall said. "Sudbury Theatre Centre belongs to Sudbury. It's everyone's theatre, and I'm really interested in hearing from people."
Here's Caleb Marshall in conversation with Morning North host Markus Schwabe on Wednesday morning:
You can meet Caleb Marshall on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at a meet and greet at 7 p.m. at the Sudbury Theatre Centre.
