OPP say a murder investigation in Estaire dating back to October is on-going and police are appealing to the public for any information.

So far, no charges have been laid, and police have not named a suspect in the murder of Sheri-Lynn McEwan, who was found seriously injured in her Estaire home and later died of those injuries.

Sergeant Carolle Dionne said a tip line set up to gather information on the case is still taking calls.

“We have received some calls but we're still seeking more information,” she said.

A few weeks after McEwan died, a body was found in the same home.

The Estaire Wanup Fire Department confirmed the deceased in that case was McEwan's husband, Terry Boyle.

Police said in that case, they do not suspect foul play.

Investigators have collected forensic evidence, but Dionne said police can't release any information on what has been collected or the results.
