Paralympic athletes Curtis Halladay, Meaghan Mahon reflect on Rio

Fresh off of their Paralympic performances for Team Canada in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, athletes Curtis Halladay and Meaghan Mahon are reflecting on their experiences.

Fresh off of their Paralympic performances for Team Canada in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, athletes Curtis Halladay and Meaghan Mahon are reflecting on their experiences. 

Paralympic rower Halladay, from Sudbury, brought home a bronze medal — "a historic finish for the Canadians in the 1000-metre race," according to CBC Sports.

Meaghan Mahon, a visually-impaired athlete originally from Timmins, Ont., competed in goal ball for Team Canada.

We were joined in studio by two Northern Ontario paralympians. Meaghan Mahon competed for Canada in goalball and Curtis Halladay earned a bronze medal in rowing. They told us how they became paralympians and talked about their sport and their time in Rio.
