After almost four weeks, striking faculty at Nipissing University reached a tentative agreement with school administration Thursday morning.
The news means students should be back in classrooms on Monday, the university announced.
Details of the agreement have not yet been released, and the deal hasn't yet been ratified.
"The parties wish to thank the provincially appointed mediator, Greg Long, for assistance with negotiations," a university press release stated.
"The strike ... has resulted in the loss of winter reading week and an uncertain academic calendar for the students."
