It's unclear what will happen to a century old building in Copper Cliff at the end of this summer.
TD bank will close its Copper Cliff branch that opened in 1914.
A senior planner with the City of Greater Sudbury said the building does not have any heritage protection.
“Typically it is all a matter of whether it has been assessed by council and deemed to require a bylaw or deemed that it meets the requirements under the Ontario Heritage Act for a designation,” Kris Longston said.
TD Bank officials report they have not determined what will happen with the building once the bank branch closes in August.
