Closing submissions begin today in the trial of former engineer Robert Wood.

Wood is the only person criminally charged in connection to the 2012 Elliot Lake mall collapse which killed 37-year-old Lucie Aylwin and 74-year-old Doloris Perizzolo. 

Wood has pleaded not guilty to three counts of criminal negligence in relation to the incident.
