Two youths charged in Saskatoon's 2nd homicide of the year

Two youth have been arrested in connection with Saskatoon's second homicide of 2019.

A 31-year-old man was shot dead in an alley on 100 block of Avenue Q South.

Two youth have been arrested in connection with Saskatoon's second homicide of 2019.

A 15-year-old youth appeared in court this morning charged with second degree murder and numerous firearms offences.

The firearms offences relate to a .45 calibre weapon.

A 17-year-old also appeared.

Both are due back in court March 18.

Saskatoon police were called to an alley in the 100 block of Avenue Q South Tuesday night. 

Officers found 31-year-old Mark Enwaya who had been shot.

Enwaya was declared dead at the scene.

An autopsy is scheduled to be performed today.

Police arrested two male suspects in the 200 block of Avenue S S.

Police said both youth had firearms.
