This Hour Has 22 Minutes pokes fun at Tim Hortons snake tossing story
The satirical CBC show has taken aim at a strange story out of Saskatoon.
'Suddenly he woke up and got to work'
This Hour Has 22 Minutes knows a good story to satirize when it sees it.
On its latest episode, CBC's satirical news show poked fun at an incident that took place in a Saskatoon Tim Hortons. In December, a man tossed a garter snake behind the counter of the doughnut shop on 22nd Street West after a dispute with an employee.
The snake was unharmed during the incident and two 20-year-old men were charged. However, the 22 Minutes skit slithers away from the truth.
