Following Saskatoon's eighth homicide last week, police are asking for the public's help identifying a possible suspect.
On June 18, at around 1:20 p.m. CST police were called to the 300 block of Avenue E South where they found a man, 24, injured. He was taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
An autopsy conducted on Thursday confirmed the death to be a homicide.
The major crimes unit is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect described as a man between the ages of 20 and 30 with short dark hair. He was last seen wearing dark pants, a long-sleeved shirt or jacket and a baseball cap.
The suspect was last seen running south on Avenue D from 19th Street. Police said they don't believe the suspect and the victim knew each other.
