A semi driver who was pulled over in Saskatoon for "erratic driving" now faces drug charges after cocaine, crystal meth and heroin were found.
City police said they got involved after receiving a call around 8:17 p.m. CST Monday about an "erratic driver" operating a commercial semi unit near the intersection of Preston Avenue and College Drive, which is next to the university.
They caught up with the truck about three kilometres away, downtown.
While investigating the driving complaint, officers found "personal use" amounts of cocaine, methamphetamine and heroin.
The driver, who is from Calgary, has been charged with possession of the controlled substances as well as several commercial vehicle driving infractions.
