Saskatoon house fire causes $250K in damage
A fire caused extensive damage to a home Thursday, but no one was injured, officials say.
Fire happened at 501 Avenue H South
A house fire in Saskatoon Wednesday afternoon caused an estimated $250,000 in damage.
Crews were called to 501 Avenue H South at about 5:11 p.m. CST on Wednesday, according to a news release from the Saskatoon Fire Department.
Upon arrival, crews found a single-storey fourplex home with smoke and flames coming from the side of the house and multiple areas of the roof.
The fire department says no one was found in any of the four suites and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
