Saskatoon police investigating second homicide in 24 hours
Man was taken to hospital but died from his injuries
Police in Saskatoon are investigating a homicide on Saturday, less than 24 hours after another homicide was reported late Friday night.
At about 10:40 a.m. CST on Saturday, police and emergency medical services responded to an apartment on the 200 block of Avenue V S.
An injured male was found and rushed to hospital. He died from his injuries.
Police say the death is not related to a homicide reported 12 hours earlier on Friday night, when police found an injured man in the hallway of an apartment building on the 200 block of 5th Avenue N. He also died from his injuries.
The Saskatoon Police Service's major crime section and forensic identification unit are both investigating the latest death. They are also working with the Office of the Chief Coroner.
Anyone with information is being asked to contact the SPS or Crime Stoppers.
