Saskatchewan Rush starts selling playoff, season tickets

The Saskatchewan Rush say the phones are ringing off the hook today as fans seek 2017 season tickets and 2016 playoff tickets before they go on sale to the general public.

The Saskatchewan Rush say the phones are ringing off the hook today as fans are fighting over playoff tickets and season tickets for next year. 

Today was the first day fans could purchase tickets for the 2017 season, as well as tickets for this year's playoffs.

Lacrosse has become very popular across Saskatoon. On average, the team has been drawing in crowds of about 11,000 fans per game, with that number on the rise.

The team announced a home playoff game coming to SaskTel Centre in this year's National Lacrosse League playoffs. Details will be announced at a later date.

Playoff tickets are selling for $22-$59.90. Season tickets are selling for $199-$549.
