RCMP ask for tips in search for missing Prince Albert woman Danielle Nyland

The RCMP say they are concerned for the safety of a 22-year-old Prince Albert woman missing since June 8.

The RCMP say they are concerned for the safety of a 22-year-old Prince Albert woman missing since June 8.

Civilian and police search and rescue are assisting with coordinated searches for Danielle Nyland around Shellbrook.

Investigators are also trying to identify and locate friends and family who had contact with her leading up to her disappearance.

In particular, they want to speak with a Prince Albert man, Raymond Knife, who may have information about Nyland that could assist in their investigation.

As well, police are trying to identify the owner of a white pick-up truck — possibly a Dodge — that may have been stolen from the Prince Albert or Shellbrook area.

They are asking anyone with a similar vehicle to check on its status and report any theft to police.

They also want to hear if a vehicle of that description is found abandoned.

Nyland was reported missing on June 10, and was last seen the Shellbrook area on Monday, June 8 at approximately 7:30 a.m. CST.  

She is described as Métis, 5-6, 180 pounds, long brown hair and brown eyes, and wearing black flip flops with pink sparkles, black capri pants and a teal sweater with the word "tattoo" on the back collar.
