Police lay 113 new charges in Project Forseti investigation

New charges have been laid against nine people previously charged in connection with Project Forseti.
The 113 new charges relate to unsafe storage of prohibited firearms, possession of a prohibited device, possession of a controlled substance, carrying a weapon for a purpose dangerous to the public.
In January, police across Saskatchewan and Alberta seized guns and drugs, including significant amounts of counterfeit oxycontin and methamphetamine as part of Project Forseti.
The investigation targeted two gangs, the Hells Angels and the Fallen Saints.
Integrated Organized Crime Unit North (IOCN), made up of members of Saskatoon police and RCMP officers, continues its investigation.
