Saskatoon-raised Joni Mitchell may have to make some room on the shelf where she keeps her Grammy awards.

The famed singer-songwriter won her 9th Grammy on the weekend in the category of best album notes.

The album in question is Love Has Many Faces: A Quartet, A Ballet, Waiting To Be Danced (Rhino).

The win was announced Monday on the pre-show portion of the annual awards.

Mitchell won a Grammy for the first time in 1969 for the album Clouds. She's been nominated 16 times over the years.
