Mariah Cox won't be wearing a shirt in public on Sunday when she attends an event being held in Saskatoon to celebrate International Topless Day.
"I finally got a chance to stand up for what I believe in," she said.
"It's not about going topless everywhere — like in a restaurant or anywhere — just the same places men are able to."
The Facebook event page has more than 780 people saying they'll be attending the event scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. CST at the Saskatoon River Beach.
"Let's reduce the nipple stigma and increase body positivity," the Facebook event post reads. "This is not an act of protest or a political demonstration of any sort - this is a group of people (of all genders) celebrating our human rights together."
