The final deal to build the North Commuter Parkway and Traffic Bridges has been closed.

The City of Saskatoon has reached financial close with Graham Commuter Partners on the massive bridge project.

"This was a very competitive procurement process and we thank each of the three proponents for their submissions," said Dan Willems, Special Projects Manager with Major Projects with the City of Saskatoon in a press release.

Graham will build and design both bridges, and finance and maintain the new infrastructure for 30 years. The city will own the bridge.

The federal and provincial government has contributed more than $100 million to the project.

The final price of the project won't be released until the city council meeting in November
