COVID-19 alert posted for popular Saskatoon country bar
Anyone at The Longbranch Oct. 8 asked to immediately self-isolate if they didn't follow rules

The Saskatchewan Health Authority has put out a COVID-19 alert for anyone who attended The Longbranch bar on Oct. 8.
The authority asks everyone who was in the bar to immediately self-isolate and call HealthLine 811 if they did not follow the following rules:
- Did not wear a mask
- Did not stick to your household or bubble
- Shared drinks
- Did not social distance from other bar patrons
In a press release, Medical Health Officer Dr. Hortense Tabien said that going to the bar while sick and not complying with mass gathering rules puts everyone at risk for COVID-19.
Anyone who was at the bar and kept their physical distance from people not in their bubble, wore a mask at all times and did not share drinks are still asked to self-monitor for 14 days.
Anyone who has developed COVID-19 symptoms are asked to immediately self-isolate and call 811.
The authority says people may develop symptoms everywhere from 2 to 14 days after they have been exposed.
