Saskatoon to host 1st Conservative leadership debate
The candidates will meet in the Bridge City Nov. 9
Candidates vying to lead Canada's Official Opposition will come together in Saskatoon for their first debate in November.
The Conservative Party's first leadership debate will be held Nov. 9 at the Delta Bessborough.
Former CBC news anchor Kaveri Braid, who is currently with Earnscliffe Strategy Group, will moderate the debate.
Along with being a former reporter, Braid has been a media advisor to the Saskatchewan government's executive council at its Saskatoon cabinet office and is currently working with Saskatoon's incumbent mayor Don Atchison on his campaign for the Oct. 26 election.
The debate will be held at 7 p.m. CST. Tickets go on sale on Oct. 6.
It will also be livestreamed on the party's website.
