Big Boi, City and Colour, Downchild Blues Band round out jazz festival mainstage lineup

The SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival is bringing hip-hop artist Big Boi and singer-songwriter City and Colour to the main stage this year.
Big Boi is best known as one half of hip-hop duo Outkast. The band released a number of significant hits, including Hey Ya!, Ms. Jackson and The Way You Move. Since breaking out as a solo act, Big Boi has received critical acclaim for his albums Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty and Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors. He will perform July 2.
Dallas Green, also known as City and Colour, will be performing on the main stage on July 3. Green has released five albums so far. His latest, If I Should Go Before You debuted at number one in Canada. City and Colour last made an appearance at the Jazz Festival in 2013.
The legendary Downchild Blues Band will also be making a return to Saskatoon on June 30. Best known for their connection with The Blues Brothers, the band has been on the road for more than 45 years. In 2014, the band won a Juno for their album Can You Hear The Music.
Other performers taking the main stage include Jesse Cook, Hiromi: The Trio Project, Poncho Sanchez and Patricia Barber.
