Alleged assault sends man to Saskatoon hospital with life-threatening injuries

A 49-year-old man is in hospital with life-threatening injures, after an alleged weekend assault in Saskatoon.

Police have arrested a 31-year-old in connection with the incident

A 49-year-old man is in hospital suffering life-threatening injures after an alleged weekend assault in Saskatoon.

Police were called to St. Paul's Hospital on Sunday where the victim had admitted himself on Saturday. 

Police said they were told the alleged victim had been assaulted at a home in the 600 block of 28th Street West.

When police went to the house, they arrested a 31-year-old man at the scene.

He is facing a charge of aggravated assault, according to police.
