A second teenager has been charged in relation to an attack on a woman in Saskatoon's Pleasant Hill neighbourhood last week.

The assault, which happened on May 20, was caught on video by a bystander.

Saskatoon police have charged a 13-year-old boy with assault and breach of undertaking.

A 13-year-old girl was charged last week in connection with the assault.

In the video, a woman is swarmed and hit by a group of what appear to be children at the Pleasant Hill Park.

The woman, Bonnie Halcrow, told CBC News she had bruises to her back, arms and legs after she was assaulted. She said she was with her 10-year-old daughter when the attack took place.

Previous assault in same park

Police say a pair of 13-year-old girls have been charged in relation to a prior incident at the same park.

Two girls reported being assaulted by a group of youth around 7 p.m. CST on May 13, according to police.

The 13-year-old girl charged in the May 20 incident had also previously been charged in connection with the May 13 assault, police said.

None of the accused can be named in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
