A Saskatchewan-made movie about a police officer who turns into a werewolf is going to Cannes — although it's not officially in competition.
WolfCop hits the French town known for the famous film festival in May.
The horror-comedy, which was shot in Regina with city native Lowell Dean directing, has been getting a lot of buzz on social media in recent weeks.
The producers say they are looking for some international sales and hope to find that at Cannes.
The film was made with the help of a $1 million prize, based a pitch by the WolfCop team.
It opens across Canada on June 6.
