When it comes to Mother's Day, would a text suffice?

According to SaskTel, half a million customers made long distance phone calls on Mother's Day two years ago. 

This year, they're expecting that number to drop, with more people turning to texting their moms. 

The company expects 12 million text messages to be sent on Sunday.
