The 2015 Warehouse District Walking Tour visits six different fitness businesses in the area, for an explanation of what they offer then a 20 minute workout.

Kyle Gibson is one of the owners of Wheelhouse Cycle Club, one of the stops on the tour.

"The Warehouse District has an amazing community of people, especially in the fitness business," he told the CBC's Morning Edition. "We've had a chance to meet some of the owners and everyone's been really collaborative and open to partnering as well."

Gibson's business opened in March in what used to be a bank. He said he and his business partner liked the neighbourhood's central location.

"I think it's just in the heart of the city," he said. "All businesses we looked at, they have a similar layout, like nice, open space. There's lots of parking so I think it's just an easy part of the city to get to."

Don Black, the chair of the Warehouse Business Improvement District, will lead the walk. It begins at 9 a.m. CST at the Regina Boxing Club, 1400 McIntyre St.

The last stop is scheduled to happen just before noon, but it's not one that will get you sweating. Participants have the opportunity to grab lunch at the Bushwakker Brewpub.

Those wanting to participate are asked to register beforehand, as space is limited. More information can be found at www.warehousedistrict.ca
