Ticats lampoon Riders with 'Fantuz Flakes'

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are using gentle mockery to pump fan support with the release of a pseudo-news report about a hair-care product from Saskatchewan's Andy Fantuz.

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have taken to lighthearted mockery in an effort to drum up fan support with the release of a pseudo-news report about a new hair-care product from the Saskatchewan Roughrider's Andy Fantuz.

Fantuz recently marketed a real breakfast cereal called Fantuz Flakes in Regina as a charity fundraiser.

In a spoof, the Tiger-Cats produced a report about another product called Fantuz Flakes — an anti-dandruff shampoo.

The product was promoted as a sure-fire way to combat bad hair.

The spoof says it comes in three scents available — barnyard, watermelon and corner gas.

Hamilton hosts the Roughriders in a CFL game on Saturday.
