Tatiana Maslany chats Saskatchewan's bitter cold, Roughriders on talk show
Show was live from Niagara Falls; Prime Minister Justin Trudeau also made an appearance
Tatiana Maslany, Regina-born actress and star of Orphan Black, made an appearance on the Live with Kelly and Ryan show Monday morning, where she discussed the bitter cold weather and the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
Maslany regaled hosts Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest with tales of fighting off frostbite.
"I had to walk backwards to school to avoid getting frostbite on the front of my face," Maslany said.
The Canadian Screen Awards and Emmy Award-winning actress also met Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for the first time, who was a guest on the show. She said he was sparkly.
Orphan Black coming to an end
Maslany said shooting for the final season of Orphan Black wrapped up two months ago.
She described the show's final season as action packed and ending in a very personal way.
The season premieres June 10.
