Stolen tricycle found, returned to Regina girl with cerebral palsy

The stolen tricycle of a Regina youngster with cerebral palsy has been found and returned.

The tricycle, the only model 12-year-old Leah Castle is able to ride with her condition, was taken from her back yard earlier in the week.

On Thursday, it was found near some train tracks in the city and was set to be returned.

When news of the theft was reported, a generous stranger made arrangements for a new tricycle, from a shop in Florida, to be sent to Castle.

The youngster said if she ended up finding her bike and receiving a new one she would donate the extra one to Easter Seals.  

The family was not immediately available to comment on the recovered bike as they were enjoying some time at Camp Easter Seal this week.
