Some Regina truck owners may be having a tailgate party after police recovered some stolen property.
Last month, a thief or thieves stole 11 tailgates off parked pickup trucks.
Now, police have made an arrest and recovered at least some of the stolen gates.
A 54-year-old man made his first appearance in Regina provincial court on Monday.
He faces a string of charges:
- Breaking and entering and committing an indictable offence.
- Theft under $5,000 (five counts).
- Fraud under $5,000 (six counts).
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 (four counts).
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 (three counts).
- Attempt breaking and entering a business.
Police say they're continuing to investigate.
