Souls Harbour in Regina is getting ready for one of their biggest days of the year.

Volunteers will be serving up Christmas dinner to those in need tomorrow.

Katrina Robinson said they're doing everything they can to help people celebrate the holiday season.

"At the men's shelter, we're going to have games and movies and gifts for them to open," Robinson said. "At our women's shelter, they're going to be joining our women's program at Shayil Home and we have a church service planned."

The shelter also plans to give out backpacks full of winter weather essentials for adults.

"We want to offer them a safe place to build those memories with their families," Robinson said.

Both the men's and women's shelters will be open on Christmas Day.
