Sex assault charge laid against Clayton Bo Eichler, already accused of 2 homicides
Accused of 2 murders, Clayton Bo Eichler now facing sexual assault charge
Regina's Clayton Bo Eichler, in custody and accused of killing two women in 2013, is now facing charges relating to an alleged sexual assault in 2012.
Police in Regina released details of the latest charge Thursday night.
According to police, Eichler, 33, is accused of violently assaulting a woman, who was 24 at the time, in June of 2012.
Police believe the victim got into a vehicle with the accused who then drove to the back of a property in the 1600 block of Broder Street where a violent sexual assault took place. Police said that during the assault the victim lost consciousness.
When she came to, she was alone and lying on the ground. She then went home and called police.
Police said their investigation led to the identification of a suspect and evidence to support charges against Eichler.

He is currently on remand.
Eichler is accused of first-degree murder in the death of Kelly Nicole Goforth, 21. Her body was found in the back alley of the 1700 block of McAra St., east of Regina's downtown, on the evening of Sept. 25, 2013.
While in custody in connection with that case, police laid another homicide charge — first-degree murder — against Eichler relating to the death of Richele Lee Bear, 23. Bear went missing in August 2013, and her body has yet to be found.
