Semi-truck crashes on Trans-Canada east of Moose Jaw

RCMP are investigating a semi-truck rollover that happened just east of Moose Jaw on Thursday morning.

No immediate word on injuries

RCMP are investigating a semi-truck rollover that happened just east of Moose Jaw on Thursday morning.

At around 7:35 a.m. CST, the truck left the road at the junction of Highway 1 and Highway 39, about four kilometres east of the city, the RCMP said.

The crash destroyed the semi and left debris from the trailer scattered around the highway.

Traffic on Highway 1, also known as the Trans-Canada, was diverted around the scene. Police said that will likely continue until at least the noon hour.

There was no immediate word on injuries.
