News release doesn't specify number of children or their injuries
RCMP say they are investigating a school bus crash that happened Monday afternoon near Tisdale, a town about 200 kilometres northeast of Saskatoon. The bus was transporting students at the time, RCMP say.
RCMP say the adult driver of the school bus sustained non-life threatening injuries and some children were being treated for various injuries, but didn't give specific details about their injuries or how many children required hospital treatment.
The release said RCMP couldn't confirm the number or ages of the children. STARS air ambulance confirmed that it responded to the crash and transported one patient to Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon. It wouldn't confirm that person's age.
It said the bus was upright in a ditch at the time.
