SaskTel has boosted prices by $5 a month on some of its cellphone services.

The new prices for four domestic wireless plans were recently posted to the government-owned phone company's website.

The plans are priced differently, depending on how big the data caps are.

Here are the monthly price changes:

  • Increasing from $60 to $65:  Plan with 1 gigabyte of data (400 daytime minutes).
  • $70 to $75: Plan with 10 Gb data, unlimited local minutes.
  • $85 to $90: Plan with 13 Gb data, unlimited local minutes.
  • $100 to $105: Plan with unlimited data, unlimited local minutes.

The hikes come at the same time the Crown corporation is lowering rates for some out-of-country users.
