Which Saskatchewan woman would you put on Canadian money?

Prime Minister Trudeau announced Tuesday that a Canadian woman will appear on the next issue of bank notes — so why not someone from Saskatchewan?

The Bank of Canada is looking for an iconic Canadian woman for the currency, so why shouldn't that woman be from Saskatchewan?

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced Tuesday that a Canadian woman will appear on the next issue of bank notes.

"A Canadian woman will be featured on the very first of the next series of bills expected in 2018," Trudeau said.

Trudeau said the bank is launching public consultations to select the woman to be featured.

Certainly, a number of Saskatchewan candidates spring to mind. Vote for one you'd want to see on the currency (or leave a comment).
