After four seasons and one regular season game in Saskatchewan, the Roughriders have released kicker Chris Milo.
The Riders officially announced the move on Monday afternoon.
The writing was on the wall after the Riders replaced the 28-year-old kicker with veteran Paul McCallum.
The 45-year-old McCallum was perfect in his return to Saskatchewan, hitting all four of his field goals in a 42-40 overtime loss to Toronto.
Milo thanked the organization on Twitter following his release:
I'd like to thank the @sskroughriders for taking a chance on me 4 years ago. Lots of great memories! Excited for what the future holds!
